Furnace selection

Compare process routes and prepare an equipment brief around your material, geometry and production needs.

Furnace selection starts with the process, not the model name. The material, target property, maximum temperature, atmosphere, and whether mechanical or gas pressure is needed usually narrow the choice to one or two furnace families: vacuum sintering, vacuum hot pressing, spark plasma sintering, hot isostatic pressing, gas pressure sintering, diffusion bonding, hydrogen, or CVD/CVI.

The guides below compare those routes and list the data a supplier needs for a technical proposal, so a quotation can be compared on the same written scope.
