How to solve if steam appears?


First, in the process of vacuum drying in the electrical products industry, the vacuum system is required to be able to extract a large amount of water vapor and solvent in a specific pressure range, and it must reach a low limit pressure when the drying is terminated.

Secondly, the principle of the vapor handling device of the vacuum system is that under vacuum, when the temperature of water or steam is higher than the boiling point, it enters the pump chamber in a gas state. The water or other vapors discharged to the liquid ring pump are condensed and become part of the sealing fluid. In order to prevent the steam from being condensed in the pump, the oil temperature of this pump must be high enough, generally set in the range of 60~75℃.

Thirdly, the advantage of a vapor handling device for a vacuum system is that it can handle a large amount of condensable or volatile gas, and the pumped vapor will not be condensed in the pump, which reduces the corrosion of metal surfaces. Oil contamination is avoided, the number of oil changes is greatly reduced, and operating costs are significantly lower. The performance degradation caused by contaminated oil is eliminated.

Why can not reach the specified vacuum degree?


First, the vacuum quenching furnace can not reach the vacuum level: maybe the vacuum unit's pumping capacity is not enough, or maybe a high leakage rate, or both.

Second, the vacuum chamber pumps to a certain vacuum state, close the vacuum valve, and if the vacuum gauge value rises quickly, most cases are vacuum chamber leakage. At this time, you should first find out the leakage point and cure the leakage. Focus on finding the leakage of the vacuum pump and valve, vacuum pump oil pollution, oxidation, or the former pipeline seal is not good, pump oil is not enough, pump oil emulsification, shaft seal oil leakage, etc.

Third, if the equipment vacuum level is in a short period of time rapidly decline. Generally is the vacuum quenching furnace door, vacuum valve, interval popular dynamic seals aging, scratching, and oxidation skin off to the seal line, can be cleaned up by replacing the seals, and manual switch valve overhaul.


Emergency treatment methods


If the filling gas of the vacuum sintering furnace stops

1. Before evacuation starts, if the gas takes a long time to fill or cannot be filled, please confirm whether the gas pipeline is blocked.  If the gas line is OK, check the action of the solenoid valve and gas filling valve, and stop all the equipment associated with it for safety before checking.

2. If the filling of the vacuum chamber cannot be stopped, the pressure relief valve will be operated. If the pressure relief valve is operated, close all gas systems including the gas supply valve and piping. Confirm whether there is any gas leakage in the gas inflating piping, if there is, it will affect the quality of the products.

If the heating power is off

1. Check if the water pressure is low, when the water pressure is lower than 0.15MPa, the pressure gauge alarms, a ground fault occurs.

2. Vacuum discharge, water-cooled electrode joints, and heater connection must be firmly connected, and reflective screen insulation to be good.

3. If the pressure inside the furnace is 13.3-66.5 Pa (this vacuum is prone to discharge). The cause of power failure can be considered as discharge due to dielectric breakdown.
